Time: Registration - Coffee from 7:30am-8:00am. Program - Runs from 8:00am-Noon (includes a short break)
Location: Cape Elizabeth Town Center Fire Station, 2 Jordan Way, Cape Elizabeth, ME 04107 [Need Directions?]
Cost: Free! Seats are limited to 55 attendees! Reserve now...they're going fast!
Event Summary: Presenters are experienced law enforcement trainers and tactical responders from the Saco Police Department. There will be discussion of personal safety minset, security planning for incidents and becoming a liaison with local law enforcement. Members are encouraged to bring guests who are associated with or have interest in public safety/security field. Space offered on first come, first served basis until spaces are filled.
Note: Attendees eligible for four contact hours of instruction on Active Shooter Incidents and Law Enforcement.

Founded in 1955 ASIS International, with more than 35,000 members, is the largest
organization for professionals responsible for security. The vision of ASIS
International is "ASIS International will be the foremost organization
advancing security worldwide". To achieve this vision ASIS
International will promote excellence in and recognition of the security
profession.
ASIS International is the preeminent international organization for
professionals responsible for security, including managers and directors
of security. In addition, corporate executives and other
management personnel, as well as consultants, architects, attorneys, and
federal, state, and local law enforcement are becoming involved with
ASIS to better understand the constant changes in security, the issues
and solutions.
Founded in 1981 the Maine Chapter of ASIS International is dedicated
to carrying out the vision of ASIS International, and serves as a
resource for Security Professionals throughout the State of Maine.
The Maine Chapter has approximately 60 members, and holds monthly meetings
that are open to both members and nonmembers.

The Maine Chapter typically holds their chapter meetings on the 3rd
Wednesday of each month, see our calendar for a complete schedule.
Our meetings are open to anyone in the Security Industry, or anyone that has an interest in the meeting topic for that month.
Email notification of the monthly meetings is distributed to members the
week prior to the meeting. If you are a member and have not received
meeting notifications, email
the Secretary and request your name be added to the distribution
list.
