ASIS International is the largest international educational
organization for security professionals. ASIS is dedicated to
increasing the effectiveness and productivity of security professionals
by developing educational programs and materials that focus on both the
fundamentals and the most recent advancements in security management.
Membership in ASIS International defines your role in security.
Whether you have a vast range of security experience or have recently
assumed responsibility for protection services, you will find the means
to heighten your abilities and expand your understanding of appropriate

Types of Membership:

Member:
Professional in an executive, managerial, supervisory, or
responsible charge position who is primarily responsible for the
security function of their organization. |

|
Associate:
Individual with professional interest in security, seeking the
educational benefits provided by membership in ASIS. Maine
Chapter Associate Members maintain all the rights and privileges of
a member, with the exception of being unable to vote. |
|
|
Student Member:
Full-time student actively pursing a security-related degree.
Student membership is not available to those who would otherwise
qualify as a regular member. Maine Chapter Student Members
maintain all the rights and privileges of a member, with the
exception of being unable to vote. (Student members may not
apply on-line, they must
download an application.) |
