Scholarship Information |
 |
The Maine Chapter of ASIS International sponsors, in conjunction with
ASIS Foundation, academic and educational scholarship for both ASIS
members and non-members. The scholarship is one way we recognize
and promote individuals who are interested in the security profession.
Scholarships are available for undergraduate degree programs,
graduate programs, and qualifying professional development programs (to
qualify for professional development scholarship, you must be a member
of the Maine Chapter).

773-3332. The scholarship submittal deadline is: August 15,
2008.

Academic Scholarship Eligibility:
 |
Open to ASIS members and other
students of merit who are interested in the security profession and
who have demonstrated a potential to make a contribution to the
field of business security. |
 |
Applicant must be either a full-time or
part-time student and have completed one year of study at an
accredited college, university, or community college. |
 |
Applicant will have a minimum grade point
average of 3.0 (on a 4.0) scale. |

Next Meeting
Our next meeting will a joint meeting
with the Granite State Chapter.
The meeting will be held on September
3, 2008 at 6pm in the Portsmouth, NH area.
Stay tuned for details on the exact
location, and roundtable topic.
Additionally we are looking for members
that are willing to help out on the board next year. Any member
